The best way to win more in tennis is…
to improve the first 4 shots.
I learned from Craig O’Shannessy ATP/WTA and former Djokovic coach that…
“0-4 Shots = 70%
5-8 Shots = 20%
9+ Shots = 10%
The First 4 Shots are specifically the serve, return, Serve +1 groundstroke, and Return +1 groundstroke.
Those are normally the shots that get practiced the least, but matter the most to winning tennis matches.
Most of us spend hours of hitting forehands and backhands and leave the serve to the end.
And a lot of times we just skip the returns all together.
Sound familiar?
I was frustrated that my clients weren’t getting the results I wanted for them.
So I created a drill that would work on those shots.
And we gamified it so it would be fun.
And the results started to come in.
Not to mention, I started playing much better myself.
With this game you’re going to have more fun getting better…
Improve the serve while competing.
Dictate more points early on just like Jannik Sinner.
