THE RAISE A MENTALLY STRONG TENNIS PLAYER MASTERCLASS
Your Junior Player Has the Talent.
Now Let’s Give Them the Mental Game to Match.
Between The Points Mastery for Juniors helps competitive junior tennis players break through pressure, stop choking in big moments, and finally play the way they practice — every single match.
You Watch Your Child Struggle With Things That Have Nothing to Do With Skill.
You’ve invested in lessons. You’ve hired a great coach. Your kid works hard. The talent is there. But something keeps getting in the way between the points…
- They play great in practice but fall apart in matches when it counts
- One bad game and the whole match is over — they can’t recover mentally
- They’re so hard on themselves it’s painful to watch from the sideline
- They get inside their own head and start playing not to lose instead of playing to win
- Big tournaments or important matches trigger visible anxiety and tight play
- You want to help but you don’t know what to say — and sometimes saying anything makes it worse
— Greg Kusnierz, Founder, Between The Points Mental Fitness Academy
Introducing Between The Points Mastery for Juniors
This is a 3-month group mental performance coaching program built specifically for competitive junior tennis players — and the parents who support them.
We go deep into the mental game: how to think, breathe, reset, and compete with confidence no matter what the score says. Your child will learn practical tools they can use immediately in their next match.
And you’ll finally know what to say — and what not to say — so you can actually help instead of unintentionally adding pressure.
Built for Competitors
Designed for competitive junior players who play USTA, UTR, or competitive club tennis and want to close the gap between practice and match play.
Proven Frameworks
The BTP Method — including the 3R Reset, BFS Breathing Protocol, and IFA Match Analysis — is grounded in sports psychology research and battle-tested on the court.
Parent Included
Parents receive their own track of resources, coaching, and community support. Because the mental game doesn’t end when the match does.
Three Phases. One Unshakeable Player.
Each month builds on the last. No fluff, no busywork — just a clear, progressive system that moves your child from reactive to confident to unshakeable.
Play With Freedom
We start by identifying exactly what’s been holding your child back — the mental patterns, self-talk habits, and emotional triggers that derail matches. Then we replace them with a new foundation.
- The 3R Method: Recognize · Reframe · Release
- Building a consistent between-point routine
- Understanding the fight-or-flight response in competition
- How to stop negative self-talk in real time
Play in the Zone
Now we train your child to enter and sustain their peak performance state — what athletes call “the zone.” These are learnable skills, not magic.
- BFS Reset: Breathe · Feel · Statement
- Pre-match mental preparation routines
- Explorative Visualization for match readiness
- Competing with a process mindset vs. score mindset
Unshakeable Confidence
The final phase is about building the kind of confidence that doesn’t crumble under pressure — the identity of a competitor who knows how to win the mental game.
- IFA Method: Improvement · Focus · Analysis
- Building match-by-match momentum and resilience
- Developing a personal mental performance playbook
- Parent + player alignment for long-term success
Players Who Did the Work. Results That Speak for Themselves.
“Coach, I don’t get nervous anymore.”
Atesh came in with a losing record and a mental game that was working against him. Within 30 days of applying the BTP Method, he won his division at the Barcelona Academy and completely transformed how he shows up under pressure. Those five words — “I don’t get nervous anymore” — are everything.
“Working with Greg has been a game-changer for Sylvana. She competes with a level of composure now that other parents ask us about after matches. The tools are real and they work.”
“Charlotte reached an L4 final and beat a Division III commit 6-1, 6-0 within three weeks of working with Greg. The mental shift we saw was immediate and sustained. He gave her frameworks that she actually uses mid-match — it’s remarkable.”
“Mia went from doubting herself in big moments to leading her team as the #1 singles player in the state. The mental game work completely changed how she sees herself as a competitor.”
About Greg
I’ve Spent 25+ Years Figuring Out What Actually Works.
I’m Greg Kusnierz — founder of Between The Points Mental Fitness Academy, former D1 tennis competitor, and someone who nearly walked away from this sport because no one taught me how to handle the mental side of competition.
I played at the University of Illinois Chicago and Illinois State. I’ve been coaching and competing for over 25 years. And the most important thing I’ve learned isn’t about technique — it’s about what happens between the points.
I built the BTP Method from the ground up, drawing on sports psychology research from Carol Dweck, Tim Gallwey, Jim Loehr, Amy Cuddy, and others. I’ve tested every framework I teach in real matches — as a player and a coach. This isn’t theory. It’s what actually works when the pressure is on.
- Former D1 Tennis Competitor (UIC & Illinois State University)
- 25+ years of competitive playing and coaching experience
- Trained in Tony Robbins Coaching Program & sports psychology research
- Creator of the Between The Points Method (3R, BFS Reset, IFA Method)
- Works with junior, collegiate, and adult players at all competitive levels
- Still actively competing — I practice what I teach
